Dr. Jesica Leonard is a 2015 graduate of NC State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Leonard also received her undergraduate degrees from NC State’s Departments of Animal and Poultry Science in 2011. A native of Falkland, North Carolina, Dr. Leonard grew up on a small farm raising beef cattle and sheep. Throughout veterinary school, Dr. Leonard was involved with short-term Christian Veterinary Missions to the Navajo Nation and Alaskan Yup’ik people. Her professional interests include ruminant nutrition, poultry medicine and small ruminant medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, traveling and cheering for NC State’s Wolfpack.
