Anyone who knows Michelle knows she has always got her finger on the pulse of the office here at Scarlett Mobile. We would be in a tizzy without her. She keeps everything organized and running smoothly in office and the barn. Nearly all our clients and reps know her voice on the phone and appreciate her as much as we do.
A native of Alamance County, Michelle grew up loving animals , especially horses. Through the encouragement and support of her parent and grandparents, horses became a part of everyday life and a passion for Michelle very early on. Owning horses and riding in 4-H and the local Piedmont Horse Association shows greatly strengthened her knowledge and skills in handling horses. In addition to her large animal experience Michelle has spent over twenty years working for a small animal hospital prior to joining SMLAS in 2007. Her good humor and diverse skills make her indespensible. We jokingly tell her that we may never let her retire!
Michelle lives in Ramseur with her husband Jay who is a retired zookeeper from the NC Zoo. Their daughter Leela and her family live in Charleston SC so this has become a favorite destination place for travel. Michelle continues living out her love of animals large & small at home with her three cats and two donkeys.
