Dr. Becky Scarlett grew up near Charlotte and attended Appalachian State University for undergrad where she competed in dressage, combined training, and eventing. Dr. Scarlett graduated from Vet School at NC State University in 2002 and married her husband, Dr. Brent Scarlett, the following weekend. Dr. Scarlett still rides and shows her horse in dressage and eventing. She also enjoys trail riding with friends and family and spending time with her kids. Dr. Scarlett strongly believes that the relationship between the horse, owner, and veterinarian are key to a long healthy, happy animal family. Dr. Scarlett offers experience in sports medicine, lameness, radiology, ultrasonography, power dentistry, and preventative medicine. Her experience and knowledge as a rider and veterinarian allow her to meet the needs of the performance and pleasure horse and caretaker.
